there is no doubt that the installed capacity of CTP equipment is closely related to the production scale of the enterprise. For example, the newspaper printing plants with 11 CTP equipment are all from the camp with an annual printing volume of more than 1billion pairs. In the early stage of CTP technology development, photosensitive CTP technology has always been characterized by fast plate making speed and system stability, while thermal CTP technology is slightly inferior in plate making speed, and its advantage is high plate making accuracy. Newspaper printing is quite different from commercial printing, and its main characteristics are high speed, stability and low line. Therefore, photosensitive CTP equipment is obviously more in line with the requirements of newspaper printing, so it quickly occupied the newspaper printing market in the early stage

in terms of the number of newspaper printing plants, 41 newspaper printing plants have introduced the technology of thermal CTP with a filling density of more than 300m2/m3, and 108 newspaper printing plants have introduced the technology of photosensitive CTP. Among them, 19 newspaper printing plants only use thermal CTP technology for plate making, accounting for 15.0%; The 22 newspaper printing plants, which adopt photosensitive and thermal plate making methods in parallel, are expected to be close to 30million in 2017, accounting for 17.3%; 86 newspaper printing plants only use photosensitive CTP technology for plate making, accounting for 67.7%
